About the Role

We have a great opportunity for a driven individual to join us as a Training Coordinator Apprentice.

This is a key role supporting our People Management Team within our HRMC site providing high quality administration support to the operation and efficient guidance on all first line matters relating to training. This role allows for stretch and growth with overall responsibility, whilst also supporting wider projects/initiatives.  Ideal for anyone who is driven and ambitious with a desire to learn and develop their knowledge and skills in training and development.

Key responsibilities:

•      Maintenance and administration of training records

•      Schedule and manage refresher training

•      Deliver induction content

•      Deliver/schedule MHE training

•      Deliver some basic training

•      Ensure all colleagues are trained as per the defined role matrix

•      Run lunch and learns

•      Ensure we are compliant with HMRC mandatory requirements

•      Identify continuous improvement opportunities with training

•      Run and maintain reports within our internal training systems

•      Work closely with Brook Street colleagues for microsite content tracking

•      Be Trained ‘train the trainers’ for certain HSEQ courses e.g. Manual Handling

•      Be contact point for on-site apprentices

•      Identify site specific training gaps (people and OTJ training)

•      Insight into Airsweb and work with HSE to provide improvements

What you will you bring?

5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) and above, including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.

  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively


Work Based Competencies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Ability to manage data in a timely manner to ensure that the team achieve or exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving and clear customer focus

About the Apprenticeship

The Apprenticeship

As a Training Coordinator you will undertake the L&D Practitioner level 3 Apprenticeship. This will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures and workplace support. The L&D Practitioner will have an understanding of:

•           Foundation level theories and models that underpin effective adult learning and group behaviour. For example, training/learning cycle, group dynamics, continuing professional development, evaluation.

•           How different learning delivery channels – face-to-face, blended or digital – contribute to effective learning.

•           How to measure the impact of a learning intervention on delegates, eg L1/L2 Kirkpatrick, improvement in skills.

•           The latest learning practices.

•           How diversity and inclusion influence the planning and delivery of L&D interventions.

Duration:

The length of this apprenticeship should typically be 18 – 24 months.

Entry Requirements:

5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) and above, including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
