Shifts available: Nights (10.00 pm to 6.00 am)

Duration of contract – Temporary, fixed-term contract for 12-months

Role overview:

Our warehouse and distribution centre in Middlewich are attractive for all the right reasons.  The warehouse operation is fast-paced, and perfect for people who want to develop their careers as part of a team.  We are looking for likeminded people who share our passion for getting quality products in front of customers in the best possible condition.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Completing a number of manual handing tasks, with and without the use of MHE.
  • Ensuring the picking, assembling, relocation and despatching of stock is completed to the highest required standards.
  • Handling all aspects of goods receipt, unloading vehicles, handling documentation and entering information into the Warehouse Management Information System.
  • Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution of stock and goods.
  • Carry out general housekeeping, stocktaking and maintenance duties to ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety of themselves and other team members by adhering to safe working practices.

It is essential you have:

  • Experience of working within a warehouse/relevant industrial experience and shift work.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety and safe working practices.
  • A flexible and professional approach towards work.
  • A positive can-do attitude.

It is desirable you have:

  • Experience of Warehouse Management Information Systems and are computer literate.
  • A Reach and Counterbalance Licence.
