Role Profile

Are you looking for a permanent driving role which is Monday to Friday with bank holidays and Christmas off, then we have the job for you!

Wincanton are recruiting Class 1 LGV Bulk Tank Drivers working Nights to join our Breedon contract parking in Barking .

Full bulk tanker training provided!

Opportunities for relief driver also available.

  • £14.98 per hour 
  • Start times between 15:00 – 17:00
  • Monday - Friday 
  • £25 weekly allowance if working as a relief driver
  • Tramping as required


  • £19.92 - Saturday rate
  • £26.56 - Sunday & Bank holiday rate
  • Day off in lieu for any bank holidays worked
  • £26.50 per night out allowance

What we expect from our drivers

  • Deliveries of bulk and palletised cement.
  • Full training will be provided to ensure that you can adhere to our safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
  • Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements (opt out available).
  • Flexible to work weekends. 



Experience and Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence
  • Ideally 12 months Class 1 driving experience required however new drivers considered, you can join our new and inexperienced driver programme
  • Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
  • Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
