Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Capacity & Planning Team Manager to join us at our new site in Burton Latimer. 

The role will support the Warehouse Manager and be responsible for providing efficient and seamless colleague planning for the site.

How will you contribute?

  • Ensure that a best in class HSE performance is achieved within the operation and that a culture of safety is embedded in everything we do
  • Embed and live the culture of the site and actively participate in developing an open and honest environment.
  • Manage operational capacity across the site including stock & resource
  • Management of stock movements and migrations
  • Support the planning of inbound vendor deliveries to site, balancing inbound requirements with operational capacity
  • Planning inbound, outbound and stock transfer movements
  • Managing resource requirements across the site to ensure first class customer service
  • Production of internal and external reports
  • Contribute towards the improvement of processes/methods of operating practices on site
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers including face to face meetings

What will you bring?

  • Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written and excellent presentation skills
  • Logistics / supply chain planning experience is essential
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm and commitment are essential characteristics in this fast moving environment.
  • Strong degree of PC literacy, with an emphasis on accuracy and an extensive knowledge of spreadsheets / MS Excel is essential, along with competency dealing with Macros, SQL and databases
  • Proven leadership and management skills within a challenging environment
  • Good knowledge of structured problem solving tools and methodologies
  • Excellent motivator, self-starting, with an enthusiastic approach
