Role Overview

An exciting opportunity for Customer Liaison Assistant Role is being created in our New Customer Fulfilment Centre for Waitrose in Greenford. We are seeking passionate and driven candidates who provide an excellent customer service in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a highly customer focused environment, managing calls, emails, and administrative tasks. You will have strong IT skills.

Part Time role with various shift partterns including weekends

It's an industry first as Wincanton will be the only third-party logistics provider in the UK to operate an online Grocery Customer Fulfilment Centre.

How will you contribute?

  • Managing calls and emails on a day to day basis
  • Resolving any customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Managing customer accounts, taking personal information and updating any changes
  • Keeping all confidential information safe and secure
  • Discussing any queries with customers regarding their accounts
  • Making follow up calls to customers to ensure they are happy with their service
  • Supporting with any other general administrative duty
  • To ensure all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Operational procedures are always adhered to ensure the safety of self and others.
  • Report any injuries, accidents and any Health and Safety issues.
  • Adhering to procedures and practises according to the training received.
  • To participate and be involved in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Attend regular communication meetings and communicating any operational issues to the Management team.
  • To keep up to date with Wincanton and Waitrose & Partners news.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform/product specification and company promotions.
  • To ensure all Personnel procedures

What will you bring?

  • MUST have previous customer service and administration experience

  • IT literate – Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM systems
