The Role

We currently have an opening for a Facilities Operative at our Samlesbury site. 

This is a highly varied and hands on role working as part of a small team providing maintenance, security and administration type support to a large modern logistics centre. Duties will include:

  • Basic general maintenance
  • Working with contractors
  • Carrying out security patrols / checks
  • Computer-based work including Microsoft office, internal procurement system

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has the aptitude and would like their career to progress in a facilities management, security or maintenance type direction.

Very Competitive salary.

Monday – Friday 07:00-17:00 – may be required to be flexible to cover business requirements.

The Person

  • Will be required to complete full Security clearance
  • Excellent customer service focus, with a desire to delight the customer
  • A proactive, flexible and “can do” attitude to resolving issues and challenges
  • Attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working
  • PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Able to use various IT systems in accordance with training provided
  • Flexibility is required regarding shift patterns
  • Ability to train others to a high standard
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance
  • Ability to organise your own workload
  • General “hands on knowledge”
