Permanent Full Time Warehouse Operatives Required

Wincanton are looking for Warehouse Operatives as part of our B&Q contract based out of Branston.

40 hours per week (30 min unpaid lunch daily)

  • £9.59 – hourly rate
  • £2.22 – hourly shift allowance for hours worked between 2000 to 0600

Shifts available:

  • Days – working Monday to Friday between 0600 to 1430 and 1400 to 2230 on a rotating weekly basis
  • Nights – working Sunday to Thursday between 2200 to 0630

Working days subject to change from January 2021 where some weekend work will be required.

Working location is easily accessible by public transport & we also have free on-site parking.

Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given to the right candidates!

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient operational activities
  • Handling and picking and packing of stock orders within the warehouse to meet and exceed customer expectations (involves some heavy lifting)
  • Using Mechanical Handling Equipment such as REACH, LLOP and FLT (training provided)

  • Effective organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • MHE Licence is also desirable
