Repack Team Leader

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Repack Team Leader to assist the Repack Shift Manager in coordinating and monitoring the daily operations of the Team to ensure that required productivity, quality and accuracy levels are achieved.

The Role

  • Monitor day to day progress of the Repack operation in terms of quality of work and efficiency of the job
  • Assist in the smooth running of the Repack operation, for example addressing bottlenecks
  • Monitor job sheets and ensure that a daily spreadsheet is completed within the shift to produce a shift summary for the Repack Shift Manager
  • Advise Repack Shift Manager of job sheets outstanding on the shift
  • Check Repack specifications
  • Counsel operatives on performance issues, such as absence, performance and disciplinary issues to optimise the performance of the team
  • Maintain Agency timesheets
  • Deputise for the Repack Shift Manager when required
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to fulfil role and assist the wider operation.

The Person

  • Flexible in approach to duties
  • Able to demonstrate initiative within the defined boundaries of the role
  • Highly motivated individual, able to communicate effectively with the customer, management team, workforce and other functions on site
  • Able to understand and deliver accurate instructions and ensure they are carried out to a high level of detail
  • Methodical and process driven
  • Able to work well with constantly varying deadlines and volumes
  • Able to problem solve issues and deliver effective solutions
  • PC literate e.g. Excel, Word
  • Working knowledge of a Repack operation would be an advantage
