Role Profile

We are currently recruiting a committed and reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join our Topps Tiles team in Portbury, Bristol

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • Start time: 17:00
  • Permanent 45 hours per week contract
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 45 hours worked per week
  • Moffett Training provided
  • £30,000 per annum

Duties will include trunking to Leicester, Greenford and tray delivery to Nuneaton

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive in a safe, responsible and courteous manner at all times, and in accordance with company policy & procedures, legislation and traffic regulations.
  • Carry out a rewarding role with a great team around you.
  • Carry out vehicle checks and ensure that defects are reported immediately and complete all paperwork in line with procedure.
  • Report to the traffic office at start and finish of shift for debrief.
  • Required to use a forklift truck/ Moffett       

Experience & Qualifications

  • You must hold a valid LGV (C+E) Class 1 driving licence
  • You must hold an in date valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC card)
  • You must hold an in date Digital Tachograph card
  • You must have no more than 6 points on your current licence
  • Minimum 6 months experience preferred
  • Moffett licence preferred
  • Have a positive, flexible attitude to work.
  • Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised
